Part Search

The Part Search is directly connected to the TeamCenter database. Parts will only show up that are in the Released Vault and are the latest revision. There are several actions associated with every part:

- Where Used Query: Searches TeamCenter for parts which use this part. This icon appears on every part.

- Bill of Material Query: Searches TeamCenter for this part's bill of material. This icon will only appear if a BOM exists.

- View part drawing (PDF). This appears on any part (CAD or non-CAD) when a PDF file can be found.

- View PPAP worksheet. This will display the PPAP worksheet if one is found.

- View process sheet. This will display the process sheet if one is found.

- View JT file. A JT file is a 3D, rotatable model of a part which can be viewed without CAD software.

- View gauge details. This will display a spline gauge drawing if one is found.

MultiSearch

MultiSearch was designed for people who need to look up multiple part numbers at once. You can copy and paste any number of parts from an Excel or any other type of document, or just type them in yourself. Parts Online will recognize any parts separated by commas, spaces, slashes, semicolons, tabs, or carriage returns (pressing the enter key). Try it out!

Manager Area

The Manager Area is for managers who need to view a part drawing before releasing it. You must type in the exact part number to view the drawing - wildcards (*) will not work. These PDFs are not for distribution.

Archive Search

The Archive Search is where you can search for older scanned drawings and Garden Way parts. This contains every scanned drawing we have here at MTD.

Archive search tips:

  • Use wildcards (*). The filenames in the archive drawings are not all uniform and organized. For example, if you're searching for GW-1058 and cannot find it, try GW*1058. If nothing still, try *1058* and sort through the list. You could also try GW*10* to find all 10- parts and sort through that list. Creative searching will make you more likely to find your drawing.
  • Archived drawing file names can be different depending on how they were created. Some Garden Way part numbers have hyphens inserted after the first 3 numbers (For example, 1901234 might be in the database as 190-1234). If you are having trouble finding a part like this, you could try searching for 190*1234. We've tried to correct all of the parts in the database to remove the hyphen where the drawing does not contain one. If you find a drawing like this, please let us know.

New Releases

The New Releases page displays all parts released for the selected day. The parts are displayed with the latest releases at the top.
